After realizing my hopes of obtaining full time employment as a Ghostbuster were unlikely – I turned towards my backup: storytelling.

I got my first video camera in the 3rd grade and haven’t stopped since. Starting with making short movies with my neighbors to creating a public access TV show in middle school - a passion was honed. In high school I founded Third Floor Productions and built a client list that spanned agencies, companies and TV networks. In 2008, I saw Third Floor through an acquisition by Story House Media Group to expand resources and to create web content for television properties. Through Third Floor I have written, produced, and directed content for clients such as National Geographic Channel, Food Network, Discovery Communications, and Travel Channel.

From 2013 - 2015, I served as an associate creative director for Centerline Digital, where I lead creative teams consisting of writers, designers, animators, developers, and editors for various marketing projects and campaigns for IBM, GE, and Citrix. In 2016 I obtained my Master’s in Technology and Communication through the UNC-Chapel Hill Hussman School of Journalism and Media.

Starting in 2016 I worked as a branded content producer and editor for the Holderness Family. Working alongside Penn and Kim Holderness I created branded content for a variety of brands including Chase, Netflix, DreamWorks, Target, and Samsung.

In 2020, I began working full-time as a Digital Content Producer with University Communications at UNC-Chapel Hill. I work to tell stories about the people, campus and community that makeup the nation’s first public school. Starting in Fall 2022 I also have served as an Adjunct Professor at the UNC-Chapel Hill Hussman School of Journalism and Media, teaching courses on digital storytelling for undergrad classes. For fun, I like traveling and hiking with my wife, two sons and two dachshunds.

Pro Video Corp. is my new company. The focus is to create videos that have engaging stories paired with compelling visuals. Visit the website to if you’d like to discuss a project.
