National Geographic Channel along with Story House Productions produced a TV series that re-created insane real-life survival stories. To help promote the series, I wrote and directed a campaign that took the theme of survival stories to the streets to get real-life stories from people willing to tell their personal survival stories. The end result: the stories we captured weren’t that crazy. In fact, some were silly and fun. We decided to pivot the concept and comically dramatize user submitted stories (that was done through the Nat Geo website), and took a comedic approach to the online promotion for the television series.
